Understudy is the debut EP from Joshua Singh, a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer from Mumbai, India.
To some listeners, in some moments, the 5-track, 22-minute ‘electronic soul’ EP might suggest either pain, or joy. In fact, however, it commits to neither. It is music that looks at life, and emotion, from a "third perspective.”
Featuring guest appearances by Rachel Singh, Kokum, Sid Vashi, Ajay Jayanti, and Rajeev Prasanna, the songs are also accompanied by a set of 5 inkwork expressions by Aditya Singh.
